You may have some rethinking to do. What happens when you take an old 1970 Plymouth Barracuda, spruce it up a bit (read: pack it with a 1,000-horsepower Viper V-10), pit it against a Ferrari Enzo, and take it out on the track at the Chrysler proving grounds in Chelsea, Michigan? Well, if you’re Legendary Motorcar, you end up tearing off your windshield molding and popping your hood line three full inches you’re going so fast — but you also smoke the Ferrari on the straightaway and, getting some great footage for the season finale of the show Dream Car Garage. “The Super ‘Cuda on the last pass ran 208 mph,” says driver/LMC president Peter Klutt. The scariest part? She apparently still has a lot left in the tank: “It wasn’t because it was running out of horsepower, it was running out of aero,” Klutt says. “And I was running out of cojones.”

I watched that the other day it was a great video and one nice Cuda good to see some fast muscle coming out Canada we all know we build the best Muscle car on the Planet right here in Canada they are born in Detroit then built in Canada a great team IMO.

Is the color on the cuda a mopar color? Looks like something in between green go and snakeskin green. Put it on the challenger!

No, SUBLIME or nothing. That was the only bad thing about the “cuda was the funky shade of green. How long do we have to “tease” people? Offer sublime on the Challenger and move on. This bringing back hemi orange when there are still orange cars sitting at the dealer is crazy. Most people voted for sublime so go with a winner and sell cars already.

CMC: Sorry, we don’t have any plans right now to bring back the Barracuda, but as I’m sure you can see, the car’s got a timeless style that isn’t completely gone from the Dodge lineup today…

Dodge, thanks for finally listening. I can’t wait to pick up my dream car (sublime Challenger) in 2010. Whether it is an R/T Classic or maybe even a T/A, who knows. You guys are the best and I apologize for getting upset. I know it is difficult to make quick decisions because there are so many people that need to be involved. We will make it up to you (all of our nasty comments) by getting the word out so all of our mopar friends will be ready to purchase a sublime Challenger in 2010. Get ready to purchase sublime green by the tanker car. The Mopar faithfull will come out in full force, I guarantee it! Thanks again…DODGE IS THE BEST!!!

Cool story, and glad to hear green is in the works. Hopefully, the classic color and not a mdern dirivitive, but glad to hear it’s coming at all, thanks.
To those still wishing for a cuda, if you have to money, Mr Norm will build you one from a challenger. That guy sure is good at what he does.
RLD, have you ever thought about working with Mr Norm on a Chrysler sponsored specialty line? He could make a cuda, a retro charger, even “true to the original” charger daytonas and plymouth superbirds. Could be a money making win/win for all involved.
