You’ve clamored for it, so we acted. Here’s another color update for all you Challenger fans: Classic HEMI Orange paint is now available again for order on the R/T and SRT8 Challengers — and for R/T Classic Models, an added option of white dual wide side stripes.
But Challenger isn’t just about bringing back our best classic colors, it’s also about performance. So we’ve also brought back the Super Track Pak from the 1970s, adding in performance steering and brakes, three-season Goodyear F1 Tires, load-leveling shocks, and full-off ESP — on the five-speed automatic as well as the six-speed manual transmission. The end result, for anyone not familiar with the Super Track Pak: Your Challenger will now get around the track even quicker. Who can argue with that?

Hey RLD, you responded to Jon W. and purple haze regarding STP, just wondering if I was invisible? ( see my earlier post regarding same issue)

Thank you very much for your help Mark and RLD. I got a call yesterday from my dealer with the good news! This is definitely a great Christmas present that is well worth the wait. Your extra effort to get the job done is much appreciated.

Mark, thank you and RLD for getting the STP added to my Challenger. This is truly an example of outstanding customer service. The Challenger is my 2nd LX platform car and I’m thinking the next generation Charger will be my 3rd. Mopar rules!

HEMI Holidays to you too, HEMIhead! Here’s to a bright 2010!

RLD and Mr. Mallie, I would also like to be included with purple haze and Jon W. to get the STP option on my ordered plum crazy Challenger. I posted Dec 17 with my vin info asking to be included for that option. I am a lifetime Mopar owner and fanatic. I regularly read (seldom post) RLD. Is there a chance I too can get a Merry Christmas from Dodge. Thank You and Merry Christmas.

Hey i have been watching your new cars come out and the comeback of the challenger and charger are awesome to say the least but why not a custom Dukes of hazard series that car is what made dodge when the chargers were on the top of there game you would think dodge would do a new charger with the dukes specks like Gm did with the Earnhardt editions and such

Can we get an exact list of items that are included with the Super Track Pak – actually two lists, one for the AutoStick and one for the 6 speed?
Many online Challenger sites have differing, or vague descriptions. Even the Dodge site has vague descriptions – only saying High Performance Suspension, rather than listing the heavier anti-sway bar, Nivomat rear shocks, etc.; and Heavy Duty Brakes, rather than saying higher quality ceramic brake pads.
Clicking on the “Rear wheel drive” tab under the picture here http://www.dodge.com/en/2010/challenger/performance/handling/ it says the Sure-Grip differential is offered on the R/T with 3.06 ratio with the AutoStick transmission. Is the Sure-Grip part of the STP on the R/T with the AutoStick? Or is that an error, and only available with the 6 speed?
By the way, I have an R/T Classic with AutoStick and STP ordered, so I am very interested in the answers

I’m a bit disappointed they brought HO back myself. I purchased an 09′ HO SRT8 back in July under the impression that Dodge was discontinuing the color, making it a little more valuable down the road. Is HO here to stay or is it just for one more year?
February 28, 2010 @ 9:26 pm
Shawgz, they can only mix so many colors of paint at a time so Hemi Orange is here to stay. Evidently they lost the formula for sublime so Hemi Orange will have to fill in. After three years of the color, I would assume everyone who wanted a Challenger in that color has one, however, I may be wrong. I really think they should offer all of the colors all of the time so when your car finally breaks down and you need to purchase a new one, the color is available. This offering a color for only a few months every five years or so is crazy and this is what led them to their takeover from Fiat. All of the decisions must be intentional so they can run Dodge into the ground once and for all so Fiat can take over their dealership network. This is the only explanation I can see for such poor business practices. Hopefully, I am very wrong and Dodge will prove me wrong this year. Please, Dodge prove me wrong! I want to purchase a sublime challenger before the Mayan end of the world comes in 2012 like your commercial so boldly states.
