Brad Keselowski, who has already posted impressive numbers this year running a limited NASCAR Cup Series schedule, including a spectacular win at Talladega in April, will take over as the driver of the #12 Penske Dodge Charger today in Texas.
He’ll continue to drive the #12 Penske Dodge Charger for the remainder of the NASCAR Cup Series schedule in preparation for his first full time season with the team next year.
Brad is already making headlines in NASCAR. After a breakout 2008 season in the NASCAR Nationwide Series, in 2009 he is currently 3rd in the points standings accumulating 4 wins, 20 top 5’s, and 26 top 10 finishes along the way.
The team is looking to Brad to carry on the winning tradition that Dodge and Penske have set forth in the NASCAR Cup Series. He’s starting off at one of the fastest tracks on circuit, the Texas Motor Speedway.

If Dodge is not going to do the right thing and get RPM back in the Dodge camp, then the next best thing would be to talk to Kasey Kahne about joining Penske or starting his own Nascar team with Dodge support. Dodge Motorsports needs a fan favorite like Kasey. Of course, they also need Richard Petty! I see Dodge Motorsports’ Nascar effort going down the drain. The recent presentation of their 5-year plan said that their Nascar effort would be “more focused.” How stupid do they think we are? We know that “more focused” is simply a code term for “severely reduced” Nascar effort! C’mon; ONLY ONE Nascar Cup team supported by Dodge for 2010!!!!! Toyota has eight!!! And that ONE team is Penske instead of Richard Petty Motorsports!!! Richard Petty, the “KING” of Nascar with 200 wins, mostly in Mopars as opposed to Roger Penske, who is mostly associated with racing foreign brands!

Kasey is now voicing his discontent with RPM and stated that he will be looking for a new ride for 2011. Now’s the time for DODGE to step up for the fans and enthusiasts (like the guy who posted above), and get Kasey into the Penske camp so they will have 4 good drivers. As for the equipment, if DODGE is not providing engineering support for this team and engines, then it would be better for DODGE to drop out of Nascircus altogether, because you’ll be the laughing stock. I can see why you would be downsizing your Nascircus efforts due to your current situation of survival, and I can see how you would drop RPM. I would get away from them as fast as possible due to thier crazy antics and crazy leader. The razor salesman couldn’t run a hockey team, let alone a race car team! Kaseys’ the only good driver they have got, the rest are backmarkers to say the least. As for the King, I think he is out of touch with what Nascircus has become. I don’t blame him, but I think now’s the time for him to step away before some other fool destroys his good name.
What about Kasey Kahne Racing? Is DODGE pulling its supports of this organization also?
Kasey is a DODGE man, now don’t hang him out to dry. Get him out of that razor contract and get him in a Penske DODGE for 2010, and then at the very least you might save some grace from your fans. You also stated in your 5 year plan that Nascircus program will be under review, well I am sure you can put together one good 4 car team for us. You’ve cut many teams recently and I am sure you could afford 4 cars.
