A part number for the front fender strobe stripe would be helpful. Also seems, IMO, difficult to maximize sales of Go Wing if one has to buy a new decklid or repair and repaint an existing one for an SRT or RT with stock spoiler mounting holes. Better idea to perhaps offer a factory spoiler delete or Go Wing option for SRT and RT.

Mopar Jim, the new “classic” Crager type wheels are $450-530 a piece and have a different bolt pattern and offset from the old ‘68 Chargers. Summit Racing in Ohio sells the Cragers that were made specifically for your car for $100-300 depending on the size. Then you would have the real wheels that they are trying to copy for the new Challenger.

Mark Mallie, keep up the great work and effort. Many of us Challenger fans appreciate all the hard work and effort you have put forth into making the new Challenger the most sought after muscle car in decades…

to echo what some of you are ticked about, I agree. Our 5 star dealers have 5-6 on lots, yet orders went un-filled. I also had hoped by now it would be a mainsteam car with Mustang GT pricing. I dont think it is there…I still wonder where the Challenger TV ads are? Still have not seen ads. Why are the not pushing the best car they make? Seems Suspect. Perhaps by the 2010 model we will see more availability with styles we want(and options / colors we want) and better prices..

Can ayone figure if the Classic rims will fit my 68 Charger? I also read on the Dodge site that there going to be some 18″ classic rims? Confirm?

With 20’s on the rear and 18’s on the front they will look smoking hot until the Classic Chally comes available.

WELL FOR THOSE FOLKS LOOKING TO PUT SOMETHING NICE ON THER CHALLENGER THE 20″ CLASSIC WHEELS ARE THE BEST. I HAVE THESE ON MY OWN 09 R/T AND THEY LOOK GREAT AND I GET A LOT OF PEOPLE THAT SAY THEY LOOK GOOD ON THE CAR. SORRY I DON’T HAVE PICTURE BUT TAKE MY WORD FOR IT. THERE BITCHIN

We want the T/A hood on an actual T/A car. Make a T/A special edition in sublime, plum crazy, lemon twist yellow, and Petty blue. Keep the hood flat black and put the T/A side stripe on it. You already have the T/A flat black trunk spoiler that you place on the SRT models. Just slap some T/A stickers all over it and make seat inserts that match the exterior color of the cars. Numbered dash plaques and you are good to go. Just do it!

The door sill guards are impossible to apply along the sill plate. The guards are straight and the sill itself is slightly curved. Nice look, bad fit.

These types of posts are amazing. Dodge worries about selling accessories but can’t deliver cars to people who have ordered cars. I cancelled my order 2 months ago and got my deposit back. I do check back periodically with the registry and this blog and am amazed that this problem has not been fixed. My order was placed on May 13. I just checked to find out it finally went D1 2 days ago on Nov 24 with a Dec 4 delivery. I saw the exact car sitting on a lot in Indiana a month ago. There are 1400 Challengers sitting on dealer lots and it took Dodge nearly 7 months to build a sold car (well, previously sold). The Dealer said when I cancelled my order that he would still call me when the car arrived. I am going to have great pleasure referring him to where the sun doesn’t shine. Just think about how many more accessories they would have sold if they would have built the cars for people who previously wanted to buy and have given up. With a company run like this, no wonder they have to grovel to Congress for a bailout.

The heritage wheels (Crager lookin ones) are amazing! I can’t wait to see them on an R/T in real life. I was thinking about adding the old school script side badges too, are those available yet?

Bob Frederick’s Dealer in Ohio sells the Cragers on ebay, however, they are $450 a piece. Looks like I will have to go with the 17″ or 18″ Wheel Vintiques rallye wheels.

The crager looking wheel above does not appear to be available on the web site. Too bad, that’s the only one I’ve seen so far that doesn’t look like it belongs on a ricer, sorry “tuner” car.

That’s great, however, there are no pictures of the stripe sets and the hood still doesn’t have a price listed on the Mopar web site. How can we buy the stuff if you aren’t pricing it?

Welcome

Back in the day, folks referred to holidays as "Red Letter Days" because of their color on calendars. They were times of excitement, tradition and celebration. Well, that's how we feel about the New Dodge and frankly, we've always had a special place in our hearts for red.
