They could have my 40 grand today if they would just build the car I ordered in June. They would rather build cars to sit on the lot and go to the government with their hats in their hands looking for a handout. No small wonder they’re about to go belly up. The have colossal morons running the company.
We just hope they are still around before they take their sweet time releasing these cars. Why not release all these cars, colors, shaker hoods, etc. now so they can sell cars and actually earn a profit. No, we don’t want to do that because then we couldn’t get a handout from the government. Who is going to buy a collectors car in the winter when its snowing and their is salt on the roads. Time for a new marketing team, that’s for sure!
I think some time should be taken in releasing some packages. The drag-package cars are great promotional idea and great for drag race fans like me. The “shaker” hood should be a future option. Think going too wild would be a mistake, forget Superbird/Daytona big wing. Stick with 70/71 theme, graphics and options with a contemporary flair. Best post 70’s car ever from Chrysler!
Great! I’ll look forward to the posts.
I’m still wondering if the R/T 6-speed car has a true “full off” ESP like the SRT manual cars do.
Looking forward to asking questions about my new Challenger.
GTSKID, the last thing I heard was you can order the B5(actually B5 blue pearl) around the December-January time frame . Exact date not established.
Anyone know when we will be able to order one in B5 blue? I heard mid year but when is that? I want a B5 Blue R/T 6 speed! Thanks!

I think you are correct. Our Texas dealers in Dallas first received SE’s, then R/T’s, then SRT’s and now SRT and R/T 6 speeds. Maybe it is easier to produce the same type of cars in batches.
Does anyone know what’s going on with the SEs? Are dealers not ordering them or are they just not getting produced? There are 9 SEs in my area (all the g package) compared to almost 70 R/Ts. There’s more SRTs around too, and I thought those were supposed to be the low volume sellers!!!
Just copy a 1968-1971 Charger and you will have the perfect 2010 update. The flat sides that they put on these new cars is awful. Update a 1970 Superbird with a big wing on the back and you will sell millions of them. People want something different. Lets see the air grabber hood come back instead of the flat black HEMI sticker on the flat hood of a Charger Daytona. If you just bring back the old classic stuff you will sell millions of cars. Make American Muscle again that looks good and people will stop buying Japanese Junk.
Too bad you guys lost Castliogne - he is the real engineer behind Challenger.
Thats cool! Im in!!!
I think I’ll join in.
Hopefully they are the ones working on the new Charger and 300. Maybe they can tell us how that is going. All I know is that when you design cars that look good, nobody really cares about the rest. Although, if it gets good gas mileage and is well built then you will sell thousands of them.
