I saw a previous comments that the SE’s were going to go into production today (7/28). Does anyone have an idea as to when to expect delivery? My dealership told me it’s about 35 days after the order has been accepted by factory, but I’m getting antsy for my Titanium Grey SE!!!

challengerhopeful, what did they try to hose you for in ON. One dealer tried to sell it to me for $9,000 over sticker after he had my deposit. I ended up paying sticker at another dealer. Then the first one called me back offering it at sticker but I took my deposit back from them.

I went to a dealer on the week-end to order an 09, but the price in Ontario is way too far out of line compared to U.S. pricing.

    Bob,

Our challenger has been in D1 status since June 11th. Our dealership said they have a ship date of July 2nd. Can you please check on it for me. 8H300968 Thanks

Ordered an 09 SRT8 three days ago here in Vancouver, Canada. Was told to expect November delivery at the latest, maybe in October. Hope to get it in October before the snow and rain. I believe SRT8 production begins before the R/T’s.

Mopar Bob: That SE is a Pre-Production ‘09. They mix those in on the line. The ‘09 SE Retail Production Cars will begin on 7/28. All ’08’s will be finished by 7/14

    hotinflorida,

yeah man - D1 since the 10th, and latest ship date from brampton i have is the 26th, uh tomorrow, and still in D1, so - thats looking more unlikely by the minute. my dealer date arrival was 7/9 though - so who knows; gets a little aggrivating not knowing…people keep asking me when its coming in…never know what to say…

    LOL

If you order the spoilerless SE, then you can order the aftermarket Mopar spoiler that is similar to the one on the Charger SRT’s. You can also add the vintage Mopar aftermarket RT side stripes. Now you can get good gas mileage and still own a modern day muscle car. The best of both worlds! By the way, the spoiler does make the car look racier.

    Look’s cool I ordred a 09 SE last week.
Does this mean 09 SE production has started?
Or is this some kind of piolet car?
    Any idea’s Bob Frederick?

CapitalCarz, it’s an SE, not a SRT. SRTs will look the same.

Looks like the 09’s went back to those ugly ass wheels. And it does look terrible without the spoiler, Check you Glasses…..

Nice - but shouldnt the 08s be built before the 09s…my Silver 08 has been in D1 since the 10th — kinda weird…maybe just me…

Korn…I think it’s you. ;) That little spoiler is like poorly applied lipstick on a gorgeous woman. It looks WAY better without it IMO.

Is it me or does it look not nearly as badass without the spoiler?

Welcome

Back in the day, folks referred to holidays as "Red Letter Days" because of their color on calendars. They were times of excitement, tradition and celebration. Well, that's how we feel about the New Dodge and frankly, we've always had a special place in our hearts for red.
