Unfortunately I won’t be posting any pics of my New SRT8… I was really looking forward to receiving my 2008 Challenger SRT8 after leaving a $2000 deposit with a local dealer in June 2007. He decided to cancel the contract and sell it to the highest bidder once the car hit the ground… I’ve now heard that I was not the only one that this happened to… Is there any recourse? Is there anything that people in my position can do? Is this legal? I did call Chrysler Customer Service but the call was routed to India and I was kept on hold for over 1 hour. I was told that without a vin they couldn’t talk to me… Any suggestions would be highly appreciated!!! Thanks!! Julio commab@verizon.net

You can ask the dealer not to install it and buy an after market chrome / brushed stainless unit to be mounted lower under the bumper. I’ve seen some mustangs with a fold-back holder for car shows.

Some states like NJ require a front license plate. I hope that it comes with a nice plate holder.

    bsharp,

The bracket needs to be mounted at the dealer on your request. There is two slight dimples in the front bumper that shows you where to drill the holes. Unfortunitly were I live if you don’t have the front plate on you can not get a sticker. It sucks drilling those holes Ouchh!

Welcome

Back in the day, folks referred to holidays as "Red Letter Days" because of their color on calendars. They were times of excitement, tradition and celebration. Well, that's how we feel about the New Dodge and frankly, we've always had a special place in our hearts for red.
