Intresting that Dodge shows the “09″ Challenger in Hemi Orange. When supposedly Hemi Orange is only being offered as an “08″ color.

Yeah, but I bet at $5 gal for gas, selling the entire run of Challengers or anything that gets less than 25 or 30 mpg is gonna be a tough sell - Ive already heard rumblings that the larger rigs are just sitting on dealer lots right now, imagine what it will be like when gas gets to $5.

Communication went out the door with full service gas stations and customer service. I can’t imaging the guys like Mr. Jackson form Barret jackson that bought the 1st Challenger for $400k and all Dodge can say is that your car is in D1 status , oops now it is a F. Well here is 2 tickets to a Nascar race.

And yes I am going to still buy a Challenger!!!

Ok, I am sorry for calling the Dodge Boys a bunch of pink panty wearing scaredy cats. No, wait I only thought that, I called them out, right? I am simply frustrated. I have been waiting over two years. I heard more about the Viper and the Powler - when they would be out, when they could be ordered, what options they would have, — a full color palette — and everything a Dodge enthusiast wanted. Under Cerebus however, and this new CEO, things have gone deathly quiet. I really do wish they would have an open forum and talk to us. They are missing so much valuable feedback. I think we all want to see Dodge succeed. I think everyone here cares. Dodge! We want to help. Stop looking at your other lines and 90 year old loyal customers for answers - Hello! The enthusiasts are here! We want to help. I worked for Chrysler back in the hoorah days. It was something to see a sea of cool cars on the lot and lots of happy satisfied customers. We greeted, spoke to, conversed with them. These days it seems the spark is gone, all we get is a video clip of a gauge. Oh, and a CEO who does not share the fire insight to take “Life by the horns”. Heck the old gyser probably doesn’t know which side the horns are on. Give me substantial information on the ‘09 please. rant over.

Honestly wishing Dodge all the best with this beauty of a muscle car! I’ll take an ‘09 with a manual trans please! Did I mention in Catch-me-Copper? Is that a too provocative name? Well, Deal with it.
Hey! is anyone else on the Chrysler Advocacy Board here? We should bring this communication thing up…

You mean like WHEN 2008 production will start? Like WHEN ‘08 owners will get their vehicles? Like WHEN ‘09 order banks will open? Tell us where to find this info. We have ALREADY seen all the photos and specs we want to see. We need the IMPORTANT information, not all the teaser crap.

This is one of Chrysler corps weakest areas. For some reason they like to hold back as much information as possible and keep their customers in the dark. You can find more information from other sources on the web than you can get directly from Chrysler or their dealers.

Well, who wants an ‘08 when they can have an ‘09 with brains? Forget the ’08’s. Golly, the amount of information coming from Chrysler is so deafening. The wait is killing me. I would just like to have one please. This is just like the little snippet clips they showed of the ‘08 when it was imminent. Remember those very small miopic photos of the headlight, the tire, a Brembo Brake, the gas cap and the grille? Well, they are doing it again. Oooh Look! the car has gauges!!! I will be sure to check my trip/lap gauge every time I go to the grocery store. Oh, and while your in a sharing mood, how about MORE color selections?? Sorry couldn’t resist.
Do I sound beligerant? Let me try again, Where are the order forms? Better yet, why not come here and talk to your enthusiastic fan club in person? Afraid Dodge Boys? The silence and info-tactics is NOT building interest, it is building resentment. Wake-UP!
Ya know, communication is key to a good relationship.

So what is the price of fuel in England, for example?? How long has it been that high?? Do they still sell V8’s over there?? Uh, yeah…

Well I’ll be the odd man out here and say cool clip instead of complaining about 08 production.

Not to worry folks, I just read that they’re predicting $200/bbl oil before too long, so nobody’s going to want V8’s anymore anyways……..they won’t even be able to give away any of the Hemi-powered rigs, the Challenger included.

Geez people, when are we going to wake up and start drilling for more oil and building more refineries in this country???? You can’t run this country on battery power!

Welcome

Back in the day, folks referred to holidays as "Red Letter Days" because of their color on calendars. They were times of excitement, tradition and celebration. Well, that's how we feel about the New Dodge and frankly, we've always had a special place in our hearts for red.
