hey whats the name of the song on the third one? great song and an excellent ad for a not so great car, but the advertising is catchy, and different, so anyone know the name of the song?
1st one: love it, when soccer or plympics comes, play it like crazy.
2nd.
3rd one: kind of reminds of the scion “little deviants” ads (same shading), its cute and not offensive, it speaks on the product. Also I like the challenger plug (that is the car they are playing on the Need for speed Carbon?)
Overall I like that dodge is changing their image to something that is more funloving yet still retains the attiude that is forever dodge.
I wish you guys the best.
The third one (animates) is by far the best. It shows all the features and has catchy music.
The waterslide commercial is about having fun and shows how much stuff you can put in a Journey. The rematch one you have to watch a few times to figure it out and then when you do its not worth the trouble. I like the newest one you have that is part cartoon and shows all the features of the Journey.
If you can dream it do it! Great Commercial the best of all. and leave you with a good feeling. The other 2? last one is just plane strange, turns me off. 1st one? Might of just said Soccer players soon to soccer moms car. Boring.
Don’t get them. Not interesting and confusing the brand image.
First one is…womens soccer, which is exponentially less interesting than mens soccer which has all the appeal of a black banana.
Second one..there’s a car in the second one?
Third one…Creepy and disturbing Marilyn Manson animation. Moms love that!
Note to Marketing…. Please Quit Sucking.
I like the first 2 very much. Although, if I have to choose, I pick the second one. They are having fun, and that’s the point of the Journey, or isn’t it?
Why does everyone have to be so condescending and negative? Can’t you just say you don’t like the commercial or the car without trying to be clever or snarky? I prefer the Nitro to the Journey, but I’m not averse to it altogether. The Journey carries more passengers than the Nitro so if you don’t want a Caravan, but need more room than the Nitro then the Journey or Durango would be for you. However, if you don’t want the size of the Durango then that’s when you need the Journey. Dodge, I like what you’re doing with all of your vehicles…especially the Rams and Nitros. If I had the money I would buy one each of all your vehicles. Except for the Sprinter…I don’t really need that, but the rest I would.
I didn’t like the first two…..the first one felt like a Nike ad. The second did even less for me. The third showed some potential, but the background song is not good. But i’m a Charger\Challenger fan, so i’m not the target.
By the way, the Challenger has a spot. It’s called “It’s On”
Hey blue,
What Challenger commercial?
None of them do anything for me but, at least it has a commercial as the Challenger does not…
The Journey has a good POTENTIAL for being a big hit, it’s just too bad it’s let down by its lame powertrains. Mazda, Toyota and Nissan manage to squeeze at least 265+ horsepower out of their 3.5 V6s (in Mazda’s case, the 3.7), versus the Journey’s measly 235, plus they get better MPG to boot.
Dodge, you’ve got the gadget markets pretty well covered (MyGiG, integrated ice chests, lighted cup holders), but you’ve still got alot of work to do in the drivetrtain department. Until you do that, the Journey will continue to be outclassed by the competition.
The first two were stupid. Plain stupid.
The third was the best, it actually told about the car. Overall, the Journey is boring - crossovers are boring. Is the Dodge Nitro being discontinued? It’s much better looking than the Journey. Throw a hybrid hemi in it and then market that.
Who cares about integrated ice chests? Oh yeah, soccer moms. There’ll always be a cool bottle of gatorade for Ashley or Bridgett when the game is over. I guess I could put beer in there as long as I can reach it while driving. Do a commercial about that!
Also, why do we need to appeal to the third world?
I had seen the Waterslide commercial on TV the other day . . . had not realized it was for Dodge or their new crossover vehicle.
Great commercial if you’re a chick…….oh, wait - that’s the target demographic for the Journey…….sorry.
I like the Challenger commercials WAY better……I’m just sayin’……..
