Hey Dodge blog readers! Women make up about 40 percent of the NASCAR fan base, leading the professional football and baseball in the percentage of female
viewers on broadcast networks.

With these kinds of demographics, Dodge has launched the “Wave the Green
Flag” contest to recognize a special NASCAR mom at the Dodge Challenger
500 Sprint Cup Race held on Mother’s Day Weekend, May 10, 2008, at the
historic Darlington Raceway.

All you Red Letter Dodge blog readers who think they have the best
NASCAR mom in the world can nominate her to wave the green flag to start
the race by submitting a 100 word essay about why their mom is #1 at
www.dodgeboysracing.com.

(Moms can also enter themselves.)

The winning mom and three guests would
win an all-expenses paid travel package to the race in Darlington, S.C.
The trip for 4 includes pit passes, grandstand tickets and $200 in Dodge
gear. The contest ends on April 13, 2008.

Welcome

Back in the day, folks referred to holidays as "Red Letter Days" because of their color on calendars. They were times of excitement, tradition and celebration. Well, that's how we feel about the New Dodge and frankly, we've always had a special place in our hearts for red.
