NAIAS: Day Two Wraps Up With Green Showcase
Jan 14, 2008 at 6:50PMDETROIT — So the big hubbub of the Press Preview of the 2008 North American International Auto Show is in the books…and it was a fine time for all. Dodge had a chance to shine several times this weekend, earning a lot of local and national media attention from the “cattle drive” to kick off the debut of the 2009 Dodge Ram 1500 on Sunday.
And today, Dodge won even more attention by debuting its green sports car offering, the Dodge ZEO (see the launch video by clicking here) …a zero-emissions capable vehicle made specifically for the driving enthusiast. Word on the stage was this puppy can get 0-60 mph in less than six seconds. Looks like the ZEO will fit right in with the results of our ‘green poll’ (on the right-hand side of the blog, down a bit) where you said the environmental technology that you supported most was “Anything That Goes Fast”…although, fuel cells seems to pique your interest, too.
We’ve got a bevy of photos here for you to enjoy (look closely and you might find the Caravan R/T concept in there), as well as a recap of coverage from around the blog-sphere…
