LOS ANGELES – We’ll have more for you tomorrow, but here’s some quick hits and photos from the debut of the Durango Hybrid and the arrival of the Journey crossover here at the LA Auto Show in downtown Los Angeles. We also have some shots of the Viper ACR which also dropped at the show here. The crowd packed around the Dodge/Chrysler/Jeep display for the press conference, with journalists getting a free puzzle cube for their efforts…symbolizing the consumer puzzle solved by crossovers and full-sized hybrids. You can have it all these days, eh?

More to come, but for now…

Here’s Edmunds’ take on the Dodge Durango and Chrysler Aspen hybrids debut

And check out Autoblog’s gallery of the Viper ACR

Plus, here’s some video of the ACR from some folks at the Viper Club of America

Yeah, Good luck ordering a Challenger at MSPR. In San Diego, the dealers are asking $61K. I’ve got two words for them “bite me”. Everyone should just hold off on their purchase until Sept ‘08 and Dodge will be begging us to buy with rebates and/or incentives. But I guess that won’t happen either. It’s out of control.

You guys said - after Thanksgiving. So, we’re talkin’ one week from tomorrow - right? Actually, I’ll be finished with Thanksgiving dinner around 2pm Central, so Thursday “after” Thanksgiving dinner would be great! I just hope you guys aren’t stringing us along and it’s going to be a week or two after Thanksgiving.

You didn’t actually think I had a comment about hybrid Durangos and Aspens did you? I love all Dodge and Chrysler vehicles - keep up the good work RLD.

Welcome

Back in the day, folks referred to holidays as "Red Letter Days" because of their color on calendars. They were times of excitement, tradition and celebration. Well, that's how we feel about the New Dodge and frankly, we've always had a special place in our hearts for red.
