Calling All Racing Fans: What Do You Want To See From Us?

Nov 6, 2007 at 11:22AM RLD

While we here at Red Letter offer insights from Dodge motorsports figures from time to time, your HQ on the Web is www.dodge.com/motorsports for the latest on our teams, vehicles and other action. But fans should be sure to click over to the motorsports page now as Dodge is looking to get opinions on what else you’d like to see.

So while you’re checking in on Kurt Busch in the Chase for the Cup, take a minute to fill out the pop-up survey (it’s the “What More Do You Want?” box on the right) on what you think…there might even be a free screensaver in it for you. And if there’s anyone in particular you’d love to hear from on our end, let us know in the comments here.

I hope you offer the challenger in a body in white for us drag racers! keep up the good work.

Make sure it has a solid rear axle? Are you insane. That is the reason why the Mustang is such a pig when it comes to handling. Not everybody races in a straight line. At local autocross and track events, Mustang GTs usually get slammed by less powerful cars that easily outhandle it. I even saw a Mustang GT repeatedly lose to a 92hp Mitsu Mirage at an autocross event. Talk about embarassment.

I’ll take my Challenger with IRS and a 6-spd. manual, thank you.

First, either redesign the charger to be, well, a charger, or pull it from all aspects of racing.

Second, if your not going to redesign the charger, then replace it in all aspects of racing with the challenger

The simple fact of the matter is, in my home town of Salem Oregon, I’ve only seen two chargers since 2006 that were being driven by people who still had color in their hair (and it wasn’t from going fast, they were really really old).

The people who are buing these cars are the same ones who buy huge cadillacs to go for a cruise in( as in cruise ship, huge big ol slow boat).

Nobody equates the car they see on the raod to nascar nhra or anything else, because the new charger does not look fast or like a race car.

R/T used to mean something, I believe it was “road and track”.

I love the idea of the Challenger, I kind of wish it would have been a ‘Cuda, but hey. I plan on getting one shortly after it comes out, but I’m not sure wich one. I just heard that they are coming out with some package cars too, that is awesome.
I was also wondering, maybe you could remake the Dart, I have one as a race car, and love them, I just think it would be awesome to see the fastest production vehicle ever made again.

You are not doing enough to promote…Drag Racing…NHRA…and News related to Dodge Factory teams etc. It seems to all be about NASCAR.
Very frustrating…I was in Pomona CA this last weekends. I do hope Chrysler continuse to aggressive promote Motor Sports.

Back in the day, folks referred to holidays as "Red Letter Days" because of their color on calendars. They were times of excitement, tradition and celebration. Well, that's how we feel about the New Dodge and frankly, we've always had a special place in our hearts for red.
