Open Forum #1: Ask ‘Em If Ya Got ‘Em
Aug 31, 2007 at 2:06PMSo, by now you’ve probably figured out this is a blog. And it’s a blog about the New Dodge.
We’re going to bring you behind the scenes of our company and our brand. This is a blog from the people who work here, written by the people who work here so that you can see their passion firsthand. Expect to see people from all aspects of our company – from hybrids, to minivans, to performance, to motorsports, to our involvement in events, music, movies and a million other things.
We’ve already dropped by Mike Accavitti’s office (Part 1, Part 2), heard from our hybrid guru Abdullah A. Bazzi, toured the Woodward Dream Cruise with the Dodge Challenger, heard from NASCAR winner Kurt Busch and tackled an open question on gas mileage.
But while we’re eager to show you what we’re about, we also want to open up this forum on a regular basis to your thoughts and questions. So when you see an “Open Forum” post, think about things you’d like to see around here. We want to hear from you.
Just click on the comment box below this post and send us your thoughts and questions. Let’s hear ‘em.

Will the charger have the 392 hemi as an option?
It appears that Dodge has made some great changes since the ownership change. As a customer, I appreciate you listening to my opinion. However, the real test will be acting on your customer needs.
Some things I would like to see:
1. More information on the new Challenger. Let us in on what’s happening in the production buildup process. Even simple pieces of information are valuable to your customers - photos, milestones, schedules, options, pricing, etc.
2. Long-time Dodge customers are MOPAR customers. Selling off/disbanding the MOPAR parts segment would be a betrayal to your customers.
Keep up the great work. MOPAR or no car!
Great idea, but I have only 3 words for you all: QUALITY QUALITY QUALITY!
You’ve got a rare rennaisance opportunity here, you can put your shoddy quality vehicle reputation behind you… PLEASE don’t blow it. You’ve got some pretty great cars coming down the pike, the new Challenger being the best by far… but none of these efforts will mean squat if you don’t have competitive quality.
Love the blog guys!
Keep up the good work, I’ve been a fan of Dodge ever since I knew what cars were but living in Australia it was always going to be hard to get one… until now! - A proud owner of a Dodge Caliber RT!
What i’d love to see on the blog is info about Dodge AU as well as Dodge USA… what new models are coming and why cars like the Ram, Charger, Magnum, Durango aren’t available here as i know plently of people who would love them!!
